Traditional piñatas are made to hit with a piñata stick. The pull strings are madre from strings that are hanging from the bottom. The kids takes turn pulling on a string until the one string opens the trap where the candy are released. SInce the pullstring piñatas are not meant to be hit most of the pullstring piñatas are made of cardboard. To request a papier-maché piñata for a pullstring pinata would not cost more or less.
Get a good stick, ropes and a pulley! Which I can provide for rental.
And don't forget the blindfold!
